This slogan describes my attitude, my way of working and how I help animals and their owners.

I have a nearly 30 year old professional experience as an independent vet.

Since immemorial times, I feel this, my profession, as my vocation. As a child, I was already sure that I would take this beautiful and diverse profession.  Therefore, I am an active animal protector since my study time. This consuming but also fulfilling work has finally led me to Portugal.  Since 14 years now I am in Portugal, owning my Veterinary Clinic for animals and humans.

I see humans and animals as a team. Therefore, my work goes far beyond the classic treatment of diseases and injuries and leads to behavioral therapy and educational counseling.

I treat my patients with classic medicine, surgery but also with alternative medicine such as homeopathy, herbal medicine.
I take time for my patients and,  based on my rich experience, I do a good and cost-effective diagnosis. And this is what it takes for a successful and cost-effective treatment. I make it to the specific cause of treatment. Consequently, I look for a real cure, insteat of the unfortunately too common symptom-abatment, which leads to a nonsensical long treatment and a high bill.

As much as necessary, as little as possible.

This is a balanced and therefore effective way of doing the treatment.
The health and the well being of the animals is the most important for me and, in consequence, I am accessible for emergencies 24 hours.

 This profession is far more than my daily work. It gives me sense and peace.
